More bear fun....

*We started our Friday with painting feet. I wanted to make bears to put in their journals. They turned out cute!
*We read, "A Pocket for Corduroy" and then made a pocket. The kids searched through magazines for three things that liked. Then we cut them and placed them in the pockets.
* They read to each other from their browsing bags while I cleaned up.
* We read "Firefighter Ted" and made fire trucks. We also talked about adding to the picture so they had to add sky or a road or something to their picture.
*I brought out the fire truck and they each had a turn being a fire fighter.
* After SC went down, A, B and B worked on printing numbers, counting and reading color words.

Another great day

We took advantage of the nice weather and walked to school today.
SC made the bear that the kids did yesterday while A and B colored Dora rock star pages.
They had a teddy bear tea party.
We read, "Little Polar Bear, take me home" and made a polar bear out of their hands.

A Beary Good Day

We did several activities that went along with Goldilocks and the Three Bears and the book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear.
* reviewed patterns
* smallest to largest
* fine motor - rolling paper
* practiced reading color words
* sequenced the story- made necklace
* played games
* read bear books
We also went to the park for a break this morning.
