Thanksgiving Fun

The end of our Thanksgiving themed week. We are ready for our party on Friday!!

Here's a look at our morning:

 

*We painted a plate to look and smell like pumpkin pie.

* They did the magnet board and clothespins while waiting to paint.

* We practiced ABC patterns. And even though SC's is not a pattern, we praised her for choosing only three colors and coloring with us. This was huge. She is starting to color for longer periods of time. Yay!!

* We talked about then and now - I taught them how to stack Lincoln Logs and they built their own log cabin. S build the pen for the horses.

* We sorted Thanksgiving food and Thanksgiving people as well.

 

* The big kids practiced cutting and put together a turkey puzzle while S took her nap.

 

*They also took turns reading to one another.
