Cookie Fun!

We baked sugar cookies today.

 While they were baking, we sequenced the steps to baking cookies.

 mmmmm...They smell so good!!

 While our sugar cookies cooled, we sampled different types of cookies.

 Then we read a poem called, "Five Cookies."  It will be in their folder today. Good math lesson too!

 We brainstormed things that started with c and then they had to draw 3 in their journals.

 We made an ABC pattern out of colored pasta and shells.

 While I cleaned up, the kids worked on puzzles together.

 Then we played a memory game. Working on patience and taking turns. :)

 They decorated their cookies and ate them after lunch.

The kids finished their Beginning Sounds workbooks today. Thumbs up! 

 Today they chose to go through Megan's browsing bag and practiced reading color books.

 Finally - some games before nap time.
