P is for.......

We had fun learning about penguins today and doing some fun penguin related activities. Here's how our morning went:
- calendar time
- singing our alphabet song (Dr. Jean)
- made a list of words that start with the letter p
- made a penguin for p
- played a game- pull object out of the basket and decide if it makes the p sound
- snack- pretzels and popcorn
- made a KWL chart about penguins
- read about penguins
- put together a puzzle and added to chart what we learned
- put penguins in order from smallest to largest
- counted dots and matched numbers
