More fun with teeth!

* We worked on letters and sounds.
* Made a tear art tooth.
* Reviewed foods that were good and bad for our teeth. Sorted pictures and then practiced cutting.
* Ben read a book to the girls and then I read Arthur's Tooth.
* We talked more about the importance of brushing and then did a following directions page.
* They made tooth puppets.
* A little math with the teeth theme and made necklaces with teeth on them.
We had a great day!

Teeth

The theme for this week is teeth.
*Morning work - count the toothbrushes, color each one a different color and make sure each brush had a small amount of toothpaste.
* We sang with Dr. Jean and then worked on sounds. I held up an "X-ray" of a tooth with a picture and they had to find the flashcard that had the beginning sound.
* We talked about what kinds of food are good for our teeth and which are not and sorted them. Then they glued pictures on a plate.
* We used different things to measure toothbrushes. Then we learned the kids have 20 teeth. They each made a mouth .
* They matched number sticks to plates.

Taking it easy on Tuesday

The girls did puzzles, played with the dolls, colored and made a cross to hang in their rooms. We talked about how much Jesus loves us and that seeing the cross will remind them of that.
