Pets

We sorted some "cat chow" then had it for snack this morning.

 

We made a t-chart of animals that would make good pets and of animals that you would not want for a pet.

Then they made a pet collage from magazine pictures.

I chose some items from the house that had the beginning sound of c like cat or d like dog. They took turns placing the items by the c or d.

Then they had to sort clip art to the letter c or d.

We read this silly book....

They put the pictures of dogs in order from smallest to largest.

They each made a cat.

The big kids worked on a color by number of a cat while SC went down for nap.

Then they read from their browsing bags while they took turns reviewing patterns with me.

We read these two books before nap.
