Working hard on Wednesday

* After calendar and singing along with Dr. Jean, we worked on beginning sounds and counting for their morning work.
* We read The Queen of Hearts again and then did a heart puzzle and painted with cookie cutters.
* They practiced number recognition and counting with playing cards. Each child was assigned a suit and when I called a number, they had to find their number in the pile. Then they arranged them in order.
* While waiting their turn to make a book out of the cards, they completed a color by number.
* Our classroom looks so cute!
